624 & 701 Ferdinand Avenue, located in Old Southwest Roanoke, was home to Jesus is Lord – Assembly of Love Church for over twenty years, which recently sold for $700,000. The sale included two parcels, the church, and the adjacent parsonage. The church will grow into its new location at Roanoke Salem Plaza on Melrose Ave. this fall.
The new owners, Roanoke Gospel Outreach Center, plan to use the property to continue ministering throughout the Greater Roanoke Valley.
